Sunazocene® D is the brand name of Sila Chemicals' optimal grade ferrocene modified against special application needs. Sila Chemicals has a leading position in ferrocene as with its Sunazocene® D super active ingredient, and also its conventional ferrocene chemical under the brand name Sunazocene® F.

Based on the ferrocene chemistry, ferrocene itself is a limited stable complex both in exposure to air, and dissolution of organic solvents. With the symmetric and uncharged species, ferrocene itself is highly soluble in non polar organic solvents, and less soluble in polar organic solvents, trace solubility in water. The chemical conclusion as traditionally carried out is that, ferrocene(general) is stable to temperatures as high as 400 °C, in opening condition to air.
